Borosilicate Glass Spray Feed Pipes
To ensure optimal mass transfer efficiency across a packed column, liquid feed or reflux must be distributed evenly across the upper cross-section of the packing bed. Goel Glass manufactures Borosilicate Glass Spray Feed Pipes engineered with an oval distributor tube with calibrated discharge orifices precision-drilled along the bottom.
These spray feed pipes are installed through standardized unequal tees (PTU type) positioned directly above the column packing. The downward-facing orifice pattern creates a uniform liquid spray pattern, preventing liquid channeling along the column walls and ensuring thorough wetting of Raschig rings for maximum theoretical stage performance.
